I emptied the Mafioso in one go today. I don't really know how to describe the scent. From the first impression to the lather, the scent couldn't convince me. It reminds me of old, dry bread stored in a wooden chest. I didn't hear any of the lavender, the warm vanilla was very subtle in the background. Spices cover the smell. There was no real joy while shaving. The foam quality is good, my Zenith bristles were able to produce a nice, creamy yogurt with very good gliding properties. Post shave is good, skin is not overly cared for. All in all, a solid soap. The Miami Nights will be more enjoyable because the scent is very similar to the Eros EdP.
@Nargothrond , Thank you for the detailed review. I have several comments related to your post.
First, I always appreciate honest feedback, both positive and negative. I want to be the best. I can't be the best if I get defensive when users share honestly.
This fragrance is inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male Le Parfum. This one did well for us, although you are the second person on this forum I know of that doesn't like it. I'll be interested to see what others think.
I don't want people to buy our soap, just to dislike the fragrance. I know how much it has bothers me to spend hard-earned money on something I don't like.
So, I look forward to learning what folks on this forum like. We do a lot of 'inspired by' fragrances. Here is some recent and upcoming fragrances. It would be great to get feedback on these fragrances from anyone who is familiar with the originals. (The original rather than 'inspired by' from other companies.) Our 'inspired by' fragrances will always be very close to the original.
Alone - Side Effect by Inition
Cosmic Gentleman - Carlisle by Parfums de Marly
Miami Nights - Eros Flame
12 Shaves - Danger by Roja

Watermelon - Not 'inspired by' smells like Watermelon candy.
Algorithm - The original Armani Code
Gunslinger - Red Tobacco by Mancera
Year of the Tiger - Black Afghano
Ladies' Man - Not 'inspired by', although similar to Polo Blue.
Pai Mei - African Leather by Memo Paris
