Interessantes Thema. Wir haben da eine größere Menge Schalen im Bestand,
die wir bisher nicht zuordnen konnten. Jetzt hat das Ganze ein Gesicht.
Besten Dank.
To make a long story short...
Although I own a FISCO straight razor of either SPIEKER & SOHN or EUGEN SPIEKER, I did no research about them yet...
It seems that HUGO LINDER took over the TM SPIKOSON from SPIEKER & SOHN in 1926 or even earlier. The question is why?
But I did some research about PAUL SECKLER (not pblished here yet) and after his early side business (his father was a tax inspector and later tax director of City of Solingen and his son stepped into his footprints also) from 1927 to 1930 (without any HRG registration) he founded the P.SECKLER GMBH in 1931 together with BERNHARD SCHNEIDER and PAUL MONES to produce razor blades and trade with them. At this time SPIKOSON was already registered to PAUL SECKLER, who probably purchased it from HUGO LINDER in 1929, to prevent misunderstandings or even a law issue.
PAUL SECKLER left the P. SECKLER GMBH in 1934 to start his career as tax advisor and book revisor and probably sold the TM SPIKOSON back to EUGEN SPIEKER two years before.
I will have to research the history of SPIEKER & SOHN to find out why EUGEN SPIEKER not took over the SPIKOSON TM earlier than 1932.
