Heute Früh gab es diese Rasur :

Klinge: Treet Platinum ( 4 )
Durchgänge: Drei: Einmal von oben nach unten, zweimal von unten nach oben.
Rasierwasser: Pitralon Classic

Guten Morgen Allerseits

Bei mir scheint sich der 36-Stunden Rhythmus eingestellt zu haben. Die letzte Rasur war am 17.10. Abends um 22:00 Uhr. Ist soweit ok. Gut habe ich mal darüber nachgedacht.
Das Setup für die Heutige Rasur sah so aus:

• Mug: Fine Lather Bowl
• Pinsel: RK Black & White Fibre mit blauem Pappel Maser / Epoxy Griff.
• Seife: Rimfrost, Laugar of Sweden
  
• Hobel: Blackbird Lite, SS, SB, polished
• Klinge: Merkur Super Platinum (CZ) #1
  
• AS 1: Mühle Alaunstein, rund mit Kordel
• AS 2: Nivea Men Deep After Shave Lotion Comfort (als Adstringent)
  --- Dusche ---
• AS 3: Mühle Grapefruit & Minze Rasier Lotion

Mit der schwedischen Rimfrost Seife bekomme ich beim Aufschlagen im Mug immer einen schlotzigen, frisch duftenden Schaum. Der Duft ist vergleichbar mit der grünen Proraso aber viel milder. Gesicht und Hals hatte ich schon mit nahezu heissem Wasser abgewaschen. Ich konnte also mit dem Einpinseln beginnen. Es entstand dabei allmählich ein schöner Schaumteppich.

Nach den üblichen drei Minuten setzte ich den Hobel zu den ersten Zügen an. Die Klinge zeigte Flagge, sowohl mit dem Bladefeel als auch akustisch. Gegenüber meiner Böker ordne ich die Merkur zwischen Böker und Feather ein. Das ist eine Bestätigung für den Eindruck den ich mit dieser Klinge auch im Eltham Hobel hatte. Soweit kein Problem. Eine Gefahr die man kennt ist keine Gefahr mehr oder so ähnlich. Ich rasierte mich M/G/Q wie immer aber mit etwas mehr partiellem Nachseifen, auch während den Durchgängen.

Das ging problemlos über die Bühne und irgend wann liess ich es gut sein. Die Seifenreste wusch ich kalt ab und setzte sofort den Alaunstein ein. Er meldete ein paar Stellen. Es gab aber nichts zu sehen. Erst als ich das AS 2 mit einer Watterondelle auftrug zeigte sich etwas Blut. Die Quelle befand sich hinter dem rechten Ohrläppchen. Stimmt, dort hatte ich während dem ersten Durchgang kurz eingehängt.

Abschliessend darf ich behaupten einen schönen DFS hingekriegt zu haben. Alles hat sehr gut funktioniert.

Actually, I believe you are mistaken. Even in the post you quoted, I see a beveled edge. And here are two other views, which also show the beveled edge. Possibly your V2 is an older version.
