Diese Antwort hatte Schafour von Henson Shaving auf die Frage nach dem Unterschied der V2 zur V1 bekommen:


The design team weighed both customer feedback and test results, to introduce several enhancements to the AL13 razors.

Increased grip
The overall diameter of the handle has been increased by 0.010”. Also, the textured portions of the handle have been made more pronounced. Both of these changes improve overall grip and handling of the razor.

Reshaped channels
The lather channels in the baseplate have been reshaped and the centre webs of the lather slots have removed, resulting in improved hair and lather evacuation.

Softened edges and added bevels
The edges of the baseplate and top cap have been softened in an effort to reduce any unwanted sharpness from the outer edges and corners of the razor head. Also, a large bevel has been added to the outer corners of the razor head. These changes improve comfort, control, and precision during shaving, especially when maneuvering around obstacles, such as next to the nose and mouth.

Are we talking about a bevel on the corner of the base plate? Otherwise, I don't see a difference.

You should be able to see a decisive difference now. To be absolutely certain you can also check the lather channels, on V1 they are devided, on V2 they are continuous.

I see the difference. Now my question is do I have a V! or an older V2? The label on the box says "MDM" which I interpret as medium.

@Klinker : Ok, ich komme noch einmal zurück. Ich habe soeben auf der Schachtel von meinem TI22 ++ V2 das Label angeschaut. Es sieht genau gleich aus wie das Label auf Deiner Schachtel.
Der Hobel in Deiner Schachtel ist aber nie und nimmer ein TI22 ++ V2 sondern ein altes Modell. Ich nehme an dass Du Deinen Hobel aus zweiter Hand gekauft hast. Schau einmal die Innenseite von den beiden Kopfteilen an. Ich hoffe dass Dich der Verkäufer darüber nicht im Unklaren gelassen hat.

DSquared² - "Wood Original", Eau de Toilette.

Beide Messer auf höchstem Niveau. Das Böhlerstahl mit dem Strich sanfter, das Schulze gegen den Strich. Im Ergebnis gaben sie sich nichts.

Nachdem ich dem Bart nicht noch einen 5. Tag gönnen und mich damit in die Gefahrenzone des Auswilderns durch die BEvA aussetzen wollte, habe ich die Rasur heute erledigt, während ich die Kids ins Bett gebracht habe. Um das Einschlafen olfaktorisch zu unterstützen, griff ich zur Lavendelbombe (Danke @Mirfulanix):

Kaltes Wasser
Pre: Proraso – Crema pre Barba (weiß)
Pinsel: Yaqi– defekt 24/26 Tuxedo
RC: Colonel Conk – Rio Grande Lavender
Hobel: Yaqi – Remus
Klinge: Schick Proline P-30 (#11)
Thayers – Witch Hazel Astringent (Original)
ASB: Zingari – The Watchman

Der Begriff (Duft-)Bombe ist aus meiner Sicht bei der Creme nicht übertrieben. Während andere hauchzart ein Lavendelfeld irgendwo da hinten am Horizont andeuten, kippt die Conk – ganz dem Namen entsprechend – einen Rio Grande voll aromatischem Lavendel über Dir aus. Das haut den stärksten T-Rex in den SChlaf. Gleichzeitig macht sie haptisch einen super zarten Schaum mit top Gleiteigenschaften. Da liefen Remus und Schick direkt besser als beim letzten Mal. Unterschätze nie die Macht des Schaums.
Ergebnis: Die Kinder schlafen wie die Engel und Papa ist bestens rasiert. 10/10.
