Barbershop ist ein warmer, pudriger, vanilliger Duft, der einen umhüllt und fesselt. Lange Zeit mein liebster Duft von Stirling und wahrscheinlich auch jetzt noch. Old school.

Aber schon auch heftig schwer. Für mich nichts für jeden Tag.
Nichts für die Sommertage, aber im Winter konnte ich mich mit ihr, auch längere Zeit am Stück, rasieren.

Da kann ich mich nur anschliessen. "Varen" ist das holländische Wort für "Farn", also klar ein Fougère. Allerdings ist es ein kräftiger Fougère mit Ecken und Kanton (was nicht negativ gemeint ist). In meinem Bestand ist es die am stärksten beduftete RS, oder zumindest unter den stärksten 5. Dieser spezielle Fougère-Duft ist bei einzelnen umstritten. Ich mag den Duft und ich liebe vor allem die kräftige DuftIntensität. Aber auch das ist ja nicht jedermanns Sache.

Leider habe ich noch nicht an so vielen Stirlings riechen können, aber neben SV Argania mein Lieblingsduft

Gestern kam die Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic zu ihrem ersten Einsatz, meine erste von Stirling. Den Lobpreisungen kann ich mich weitgehend anschließen: Die Performance (Schaumkonsistenz, Gleiten, Pflege) ist auf hohem Niveau. Mit dem Yaqi Naicha gab es ausreichend Schaum für drei Durchgänge. Der Duft ist, wie immer, Geschmackssache, aber die Kombination von fruchtiger Limette mit einem ordentlichem Menthol-Kick dürfte der Seife einen Platz in der sommerlichen Rotation sichern! Mal schauen, wie sie sich in anderen Konstellationen schlägt.

Am Wochenende wurde die neu gelieferte Orange Chill von Stirling erprobt. 
Wenn man die Dose öffnet kommt einem der, von mir sehr geliebte, Duft nach Orangen entgegen. Er ist gut wahrnehmbar, aber nicht zu aufdringlich. Für mich ähnlich wie bei der Orange Empire von Goodfellas' Smile. Der Duft von Menthol ist kaum wahrnehmbar. Ich dachte zuerst: Dat wird nix. Da musste ich mich aber eine besseren belehren lassen.
Menthol ist da, aber für mich Gott sei dank nicht wie bei der Proraso Grün. Das war mir zuviel.
Die Stirling treibt einem nicht die Tränen in die Augen, sondern lässt sich super verarbeiten ohne das es zu Tränenströmen kommt.
Die allgemeine Performance der Seife ist, wie bei allen Stirling-Seifen, klasse.
Nach der Rasur beim abspülen mit kaltem Wasser kommt dann diese herrliche kühle Frische. Tolles Sache.
Von mir gibt es eine klare Weiterempfehlung.

In case you missed our email yesterday, here's the bulk of it:
We've had literally hundreds of people reach out to ask why Executive Man, Sharp Dressed Man, and Haverford are out of stock at the moment. It's awful. We know. That makes up three of our four top selling scents (with Barbershop being the other). It's not something we ever planned for and we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience.
Those three fragrances were made for us by a fragrance house that we have worked with for years. Unfortunately, they were bought out in the past year and have completely updated their business model. As such, we're now too small for them to waste time with and we have lost our source of the fragrance oils to make products in those scents.
We are working with some other fragrance houses to try to have them recreated at the moment. They are all based on popular colognes so we could just grab something off the shelf from another company and call it good, but every fragrance company's interpretation of cologne dupes is different. We want whatever we end up with to be as close as absolutely possible to the scents that you are used to for these three offerings.
My hope is to have them back on the website sometime in late October or November. I will do my best to have them as close to the originals as I can, and will send out an update as soon as they are ready. Apologies again for those of you who love these scents and are in need of a restock. Please know that we are working to rectify this as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, we recommend Mountain Man, Ramblin' Man, and Stirling Gentleman as great comparable scents that will hopefully get you by until we can bring our All-Stars back.
